Happy May 1, 2026! 🌍 It's May Day, aka International Workers Day!
A day recognized around the world as a reminder that everything we see, build, and rely on comes from human effort.
Here’s to the people doing the work—seen and unseen!
Good science doesn’t fail from lack of ideas—it fails from lack of support.

Happy Belated Birthday to the great, Immanuel Kant
April 22, 1724 – February 12, 1804
As a fierce advocate of truth and ethics, Kant embodies the essence of Theios Research Institute in many ways. Or, since he came first, maybe it would be more correct to say that we embody him in many ways .
Immanuel Kant In The Age Of Misinformation: Why His Philosophy Still Matters

Theios Research Institute has successfully submitted its SAM.gov registration and is now in the final validation process for federal grant eligibility.
A meaningful step forward as we continue developing systems for computational discovery — focused on surfacing underlying structure across domains through rigorous, reproducible methods.
This is just the beginning.

It’s hoped that the process will enable researchers in other labs to get their hands on the precious cargo, allowing antimatter research to flourish outside the walls of CERN’s labs.
Physicists Successfully Deliver First Bottle of CERN Antimatter From the Antimatter Factory
For the first time in history, CERN researchers have transported a vacuum-sealed bottle of antiprotons to a physics lab.

Progress, discovery, and the advancement of human knowledge have always depended on courageous thinkers and compassionate leaders.
Today, on International Women’s Day, we recognize the countless women whose resilience, insight, and determination have shaped the world — often without the recognition they deserve.
From science and education to leadership, community building, and discovery, women continue to expand the boundaries of what humanity can achieve.
At Theios, we celebrate the women who help move knowledge forward and inspire future generations to ask deeper questions about the world we share.

If you use AI coding assistants on work you wouldn’t want retained or reused, you need boundaries.
This post introduces Knowledge Tiers and Epistemic Guardrails — two open-source frameworks for controlling what AI agents can access and retain, without giving up the benefits of modern AI tools.

This didn’t begin as an organization.
It began with questions that wouldn’t go away — about how ideas form, how patterns emerge, and how we decide what to trust.
Over time, those questions became systems. Those systems became work. And now, that work has a home.
Theios Research Institute, Inc. exists to support rigorous, independent research — not by promoting conclusions, but by stress-testing ideas through reproducible discovery systems.
I’m grateful to everyone who values careful thinking, intellectual humility, and curiosity over certainty.
