🌙🍪 Learning is pretty sweet at Holy Family!

Our 6th grade scientists put a delicious twist on their study of the lunar cycle, using Oreos to model the different phases of the moon! From new moon to full moon and everything in between, students got a hands-on (and tasty!) way to bring science to life.

Hands-on learning, curious minds, and a little creativity make for a pretty great science lab! 🔬🌕✨

Grandparents hold such a special place in the hearts of our Holy Family students. 💙💛

We are delighted to invite our Holy Family grandparents to join us for a special Grandparents Day Mass on Wednesday, September 16 at 8:15 AM.

Following Mass, grandparents are invited to visit their grandchildren’s classrooms and enjoy light refreshments as we celebrate the love, faith, wisdom, and joy they bring to our Holy Family community. ✝️

🧠 Building Brains in 4th Grade!

Our 4th grade students are putting their minds to work in PLTW as they begin exploring the incredible human brain!

Today, Mrs. K had students work in small groups to create 2D clay models of the brain—bringing science to life through hands-on discovery, creativity, and collaboration.

That’s PLTW in action! 💡 Students move beyond the textbook to think, create, problem-solve, and work together while applying what they’re learning in meaningful, real-world ways.

🎳 Hard work deserves a little celebration!

Our Holy Family students completed their summer work and earned a well-deserved Summer Slide reward! 💙💛

To celebrate their hard work and commitment to keeping those minds sharp all summer long, Holy Family rented out the bowling lanes for a school-wide field trip of strikes, spares, smiles, and plenty of fun! 🎳

From cheering on friends to a little friendly competition, it was a great opportunity for our students to reconnect, celebrate their accomplishments, and make some memories together.

We’re so proud of the work they put in this summer — and we can’t think of a better way to STRIKE up a new school year! 🎳💙

✝️ What a beautiful way to begin our school year together.

Our Holy Family community gathered for our first school-wide Mass of the year — coming together in faith, prayer, and gratitude as we begin another year of learning and growing together. 💙💛

We also celebrated a very special moment as we inducted our new Student Leadership Board (SLB). 🕯️ May these students lead by example, serve others with compassion, and let their light shine throughout our Holy Family community.

We are grateful to begin this year rooted in faith, strengthened by community, and excited for all that lies ahead. ✝️💙💛

There’s something special about being together again. 💙💛

Our school community gathered together to begin a new year — welcoming one another, celebrating our students, recognizing accomplishments, and reflecting on our August/September virtue of Charity.

From our youngest students to our oldest, these moments remind us that school is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. It’s about faith, friendship, leadership, encouragement and growing together as one community.
