Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our Breast Cancer Awareness event yesterday! It was a very moving event as guests heard from speakers impacted by breast cancer. They also had the opportunity to network and participate in pink-themed fall crafts.
This deadly disease accounts for 30% of all new female cancer cases each year in the United States, making it the most common cancer in U.S. women, except for skin cancers. We were proud to help spread awareness through yesterday's event and better inform the SPC community. 🩷

All St. Petersburg College campuses and offices will be open for normal operations tomorrow - Monday, Sept. 26. SPC will be closed and classes will be canceled Tuesday, Sept. 27, and Wednesday, Sept. 28 due to preparation for, and potential impacts from, Tropical Storm Ian.
Updates regarding Thursday and Friday will be dependent on any impacts to our region and be made in the coming days. Updates will be made by email and will also be posted on the college’s social media accounts, the college website and the college Emergency Preparedness site.
