During the 2019/2020 session I was proud to have the language from my bill, HB 27, added to HB 1135. This meant that the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles would be developing the Florida State Beekeepers Association license plates, the fees of which would be distributed to the Florida State Beekeepers Association to raise awareness for beekeeping and help fund Honey Bee research, education and outreach.
