Week 3 Recap โ Camp Gan Israel ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐
We started off Monday with some action-packed Krav Maga, but with the rain canceling swimming, we pivoted and had the best time on a scavenger hunt through Target ๐. (Yes, the campers were on a mission, and no, we didnโt leave anyone in the toy aisle ๐).
Tuesday was a huge hit, finally our long-awaited trip to Chuck E. Cheese! ๐ The kids have been talking about it since Day 1 and it did not disappoint. Games, prizes,โฆ the whole deal.
Wednesday brought sunshine and swimming ๐, plus a creative and hands-on activity led by Chana Korf. Meanwhile, our amazing pioneers set sail on the Dolphin Racer, spotting dolphins and catching the breeze out on the water. Such a cool experience! ๐ฌโด๏ธ
On Thursday, our hearts were full, we visited the residents of Menorah Life Senior Home and brought them so much joy with songs, smiles, and connection ๐. Afterward, we headed to the park for some outdoor fun and wrapped it up with a pizza party in the sunshine ๐๐ณ
And on Friday, we are closing out the week with Challah baking, creative activities, and a lively drum circle to end on a high note ๐ฅโจ
So much packed into one week!
Week 4, here we come!

Week 2 in the books at Camp Gan Israel โ๏ธ๐ฅณ
What a week itโs been!
We kicked things off strong with Krav Maga on Monday, the instructors had the kids totally engaged. Add in some swimming fun and we were off to a great start ๐ฆ
Tuesday was a highlight: our special trip to the Museum of Science and Industry turned into an impromptu Unity Day with CGI Tampa. The energy, the friendship, the Jewish pride, it was truly something special. The kids had an absolute blast exploring, learning, and just being together.
Wednesday we got messy (in the best way) with a babka bake! Each camper went home with their very own homemade babka, and maybe a little chocolate still on their fingers ๐. Plus more swimming and some good olโ slime making for that perfect combo.
Thursday took us out to Del Holmes Splash Pad where we ran through the sprinklers, climbed the playground, and soaked up the sun. Back at camp, we cooled off with a super fun watermelon activity ๐โbecause, yes, fruit can be fun too.
And Friday? Weโre wrapping it all up with 7/11 Trips a magic show & challah baking. Families are invited to come join the magic ๐ช
Canโt wait for Week 3 ๐ฅ
