I’ll be facilitating 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, a highly interactive session designed to help educators explore what’s working, what’s not, and how to make strategic, data-informed decisions that elevate professional learning impact.

This week, I had the opportunity to facilitate a powerful session with BlazerWorks’ 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺, an exceptional group of educators, therapists, and leaders dedicated to fostering strong relationships, building the capacity of others, and refining their coaching practices.

We focused on the 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 behind high-quality coaching conversations, such as listening with intention, asking purposeful questions, and providing timely, actionable feedback that is aligned with shared goals.

🎉 What a powerful day of learning, collaboration, and connection in Kissimmee, FL!

On behalf of the Learning Forward Florida Board of Directors, a heartfelt thank you to Karen Nix and Terri Iles from Learning Forward Texas for leading an engaging and insightful "Tips & Tools for Professional Learning" session.

👏 Huge appreciation to the Osceola County School District's Professional Learning Team for hosting us so graciously, and to our colleagues from the Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System (FDLRS) Admin Project for learning alongside us.

Last week, I had the honor of attending the Society of Psychologists in Leadership 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗴𝗼. The theme—"𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣-𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥: 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙊𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝"—was a timely and energizing call to action.

Here are a few reflections I’m taking with me:

🔹 Be 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 with human-centered leadership. Create space for every team member to grow, even during tough times.
🔹 Lead with 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺. Everyone, especially leaders, brings strengths, weaknesses, and passions. Honor them all.
🔹 Culture is defined more by what you 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 than what you intend. Intention + strategic action = meaningful impact.
