Attention GBEMS families, Cameron's family is coordinating a candlelight vigil on Thursday, October 8th at 7pm on St Pete Beach off of 18th Ave. If you have a GBEMS shirt, please wear it so their family knows how much they are supported by our GBEMS family & community. More details will be shared as we become aware of them.

The families all sent in gift cards to make these special gifts for their teachers. It has been a GREAT year.

Hopefully your kids have been participating in the activities of Teacher Appreciation week highlighted in the flier that went home. We kicked off the week yesterday with a huge lunch for the teachers and staff all donated by local businesses. Here a some reminders about the rest of the week:

This Friday we will be sponsoring a Superhero Theme breakfast for all the teachers and staff members at Gulf Beaches Elementary for the closing of Teacher Appreciation Week. If you could donate any items to this breakfast, please check the link: http://vols.pt/D78FfB

Room parents are also taking donations for individual baskets. Please check with your room parent.

Lastly if you can donate any gift certificates, we have started to give them away on the news and we will be doing this until the end of the week. You can turn them in to the front office.

Attention all parents,

Please send in any gently used uniform tops or bottoms that no longer fit your child, we are creating a Shark Shop for the upcoming school year and will be selling these used items for a dollar, and also keeping a supply for emergency. There is an open house for kindergarten children coming in next year on Wednesday evening and we would like to have a table set up to offer the new parents a chance to purchase some inexpensive uniforms. The money generated from the sale of these clothes will then be used to purchase Gulf Beaches T-shirts for some shirt giveaway programs throughout the year. Thanks for helping us pay it forward, there will be a box in the front office labeled uniforms. Please send them in with your child or drop them off...lets fill it up!

Great News: Our Valentine Neon Glow Party has been moved to the St. Pete Beach Rec Center Ballroom. (Down the street from Gulf Beaches). February 13th from 6 to 9pm. A new flier and a call from the principal will inform all of the new location. We are having a bake sale and we need volunteers to make this event a huge success.
