Thanks to you, this was our best cupcake event yet! This year's Great St. Pete Cupcake Contest was a sold our sensation of inspiring bakers and incredibly imaginative booths. Congratulations to all of our winning bakers, including:

Let's get fired up! The Contemporary Woodfire Potters of Georgia are coming to the Morean Center for Clay 🔥

This touring exhibition celebrates Georgia's rich woodfiring tradition, bringing together generations of potters who are keeping this centuries-old process alive while pushing it in new directions.

From folk pottery and Japanese kiln traditions to contemporary ceramic practices, these artists share a deep devotion to the unpredictable beauty of woodfiring.

Inspired by historical ceramics, fabric, clouds, and organic forms, Dani Lewis creates a world that feels both playful and comforting. Through clay, light, fiber, and wax, she blurs the line between sculpture and function, transforming everyday objects into moments of quiet reflection.

Named after the word apricity; the warmth of the sun in winter; this new exhibition invites visitors into a cozy landscape of ambient light from whimsical vessels, and thoughtful details designed to encourage slowing down and being present. ☀️🤍

A current Artist in Residence at the Morean Center for Clay, Dani Lewis brings her distinctive multimedia practice to an exhibition that celebrates the beauty of everyday rituals.
