We continue the excitement in the air with our new yearly initiative of “Vocabulary Infusion”.
We feature a word part each week, and give a word of the day that includes the word part. We challenge our students to write words that they know that fits the word pattern! Our board is full!!! We have strong readers on deck! ✍🏾

💙 Grandparents make everything a little sweeter! 💙

What a beautiful morning at Melrose Elementary as so many wonderful grandparents showed up for our Grandparents Breakfast! 🥞☕️

Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us, share a meal, make memories, and remind our students just how loved and supported they are. These are the moments they’ll remember for years to come! 💕👵👴

🚀🎈 Defying Gravity with Balloon Rockets! 🎈🚀

Our students took learning outside the classroom and explored the science of forces, motion, and gravity with balloon rockets! They experimented with how air escaping from the balloon creates a force that pushes the rocket forward—showing that action and reaction are always at work!

Hands-on science makes learning come alive! 🌟🔬
Who knew a balloon could teach us so much? 🎈
