Important Message from Our New Principal, Brooke Crandall:

Dear Gulf Beaches Elementary Magnet School Families,

It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of Gulf Beaches Elementary Magnet School, pending school board approval on 6/23. I am truly honored to join a school community known for its tradition of excellence, innovation, and unwavering commitment to children. I recognize the tremendous leadership that has helped make Gulf Beaches the exceptional school it is today. I know Mr. Kalach has made a lasting impact on this community, and I am honored to continue building on the strong foundation he and the dedicated staff have created.

For the past several years, I have had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Principal at Madeira Beach Fundamental. Throughout my career, I have worked alongside incredible educators and learned that the strongest schools are built on a shared commitment to helping every child succeed.

As I begin this new chapter, I look forward to partnering with you. I believe in being a visible, approachable, and supportive leader who values collaboration and communication. I am excited to get to know each of you in the coming weeks. I will be sharing opportunities to meet, visit, and connect before the school year begins, and I hope you'll stop by to introduce yourself. Together, I know we will make this an incredible year for our students.

An Important Message from Mr. Kalach:

Team Techno Sharks,
I hope this message finds each of you well and enjoying the Summer Break!

Over the last twelve plus years, I have looked forward to coming to GBEMS every day and considered my opportunity to lead as your principal a privilege. Together we have built a strong, resilient, and positive school community culture. We have successfully raised the bar for student academic achievement each of those years earning the distinction as a “School of Excellence” by the State of Florida Department of Education.

Today, I share with you that I will be retiring at the end of this month with my final day officially June 30th.

I have always held family first and with this announcement I will be refocusing my time and attention toward those that have been my greatest supporters.

Our PCS District is committed to supporting the school community in selecting a new school leader.

Thank you for so many “Fintastic!” memories during this golden journey.

Another unforgettable year is in the books at Gulf Beaches Elementary Magnet School and we are officially trading pencils for popsicles, homework for hammock time, and alarms for beach days! 🏖️🍉😎

To all of our families, staff, and students — thank you for making this year FIN-tastic! We hope your summer is full of laughter, adventures, sandy toes, and memories that are o-fish-ally amazing. 🐠☀️

🌊🎓 Our 5th graders are ready to ride the next wave! 🎓🌊

Today, we celebrated an incredible group of students as they officially graduated from elementary school and prepared to set sail toward middle school. From tiny swimmers finding their way in kindergarten to confident leaders making a splash across our campus, these students have grown in so many amazing ways. 🦈💙

Like the ocean, their futures are full of endless possibilities, new adventures, and dreams waiting just beyond the horizon. While we’re sad to watch this chapter drift away, we know they are ready to shine wherever the tide takes them.

To our graduates: may you always be brave enough to dive into new adventures, strong enough to weather every storm, and confident enough to let your light shine as bright as the sun on the ocean waves. No matter how far you travel, you’ll always be part of the Gulf Beaches family. 🌊💙

✨ From tiny hands to big dreams… ✨

As our kindergarteners get ready to close one chapter and begin their journey to 1st grade, we’re reminded of the powerful message from the story Remember to Dream, Ebere — that every child carries beautiful dreams inside their heart, and with love, encouragement, and belief… those dreams can grow into something extraordinary. 💙

This year, our teachers helped nurture those dreams every single day. From future doctors and teachers to artists, zoologists, athletes, and astronauts, our littlest learners are already imagining the incredible people they hope to become. 🌟

Kindergarten teachers do so much more than teach letters and numbers — they help children find their voice, build confidence, and believe that their dreams matter. One small hand at a time, they help shape futures filled with possibility. 🫶

And as these students place their hands in the hands of the teachers who helped guide them this year, we hope they always remember: Dream boldly. Dream fearlessly. And never stop believing in your happily ever after. ✨📚

One of our kindergarten students amazed his classmates with a spell-binding magic show full of surprises, laughter, and jaw-dropping tricks! 🪄🐇 From disappearing acts to magical moments, he truly pulled confidence and creativity right out of his hat!

🎓🌺 Our 5th Grade Honor Walk was a morning full of memories, milestones, and celebration! 🦈💙

Today, we honored our amazing 5th graders as they wrapped up their elementary school journey at Gulf Beaches. Our specialist teachers recognized students with awards in art, music, and PE. Students guessed who awards went to who as they celebrated the creativity, talent, teamwork, and growth they’ve shown over the years. 🎨🎶🏃‍♂️

The students giggled as they watched a heartfelt video featuring their baby pictures alongside their current 5th grade photos… a beautiful reminder of just how much they’ve grown!! 🥹📸

To top it all off, students enjoyed delicious bagels from Tiki Bagel while signing yearbooks, sharing laughs, and soaking up these final elementary memories together.🥯✍️💕
