Give it up for my amazing valentine who placed 2nd in her age group at Thrill in the Hills this past weekend! Not only did she rock the rollercoastery hills of Fort Yargo State Park, she also earned herself an iconic clay mug! My wife!

One of the fun things about running WSER qualifiers is getting to run alongside running celebs. Ian was stoked to learn that Sally McRae would also be participating in 2026’s Long Haul 100. What a fun way to start one’s first ultramarathon (note the giant smiles 😆). Anyway, Sally aside (sorry this post is actually about Ian), Ian absolutely crushed his first hundo, finishing well below the coveted 24-hour finish time, earning himself that beautiful green buckle! Way to grind it out, dude. What’s next?!

Happy hump day! And while we’re on the topic, let’s talk about Kelly, who got over her own personal hump this past weekend at the Night Train 50k. Kelly came to us feeling discouraged, defeated, and really just looking for guidance on her path to completing her first ultra marathon. We designed a training plan that worked for her busy life, providing pep talks and practical advice along the way. Sure enough, she geared up, donned her war paint and trudged through the night to finish her first 50k! Congrats, Kelly. You are an ultra runner!

Congrats to the Antelopes who completed the Boston Marathon this week! Roger not only set a PR with a sub-5 hour finish, shaving twenty-some minutes off of his previous best, he also earned the esteemed Six Star medal for completing all six World Marathon Majors! Peter ran a great race as well with a goal to just get out there and ENJOY the day running one of the most iconic races in the world. Awesome job, guys. Epic thanks for putting your trust in the process and myself.🙏

Yo! We’ve been quiet on this channel but that’s not for lack of running. Our Antelopes have been straight-up GRINDING through a crazy, hot summer, working toward some epic fall race goals. En route to those meaty goals, we’ve got some gravy to report from this past weekend.
Myriam PR’d her 10k time this weekend at the Tucson 10k. She’s been training for a half marathon later in the fall and just CRUSHING IT.
Rob toured Bordeaux on his own two feet, participating in the Marathon du Medoc, which is described as “26.2 miles through scenic vineyards, whose participants, in compulsory fancy dress, are expected to indulge in 23 glasses of the famed vintages in route, while also stuffing themselves with local specialties such as oysters, foie gras, cheese, steak and ice cream.” Talk about gravy!
Last but not least, as part of her training toward the Oil Creek 100, Holly attempted a fastest known time on the MD/WV Triple Crown, a steep, rugged and gnarly eastern mountain trail. To her surprise, she beat the previous FKT by 30 MINUTES! And she did it unsupported. Just killer.
More updates coming soon as fall racing descends upon us. Stay tuned!

Another Antelope PR! Nate battled 7 straight miles of heavy rain and still managed to find his groove to beat his previous best at Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona. (Insert David Lee Roth scream here)🤘
