Ready to put your creativity, problem-solving, and coding skills to the test? Join the FIRST LEGO League competition club!!

Priority will be given to 4th and 5th grade students. If spots remain available, 3rd grade students will then be considered. Space is limited, so be sure to complete the interest form by September 8th!

📚 Our 5th graders have been hard at work diving into their first novel of the year, Fish in a Tree! 🐟🌳

As they read, students are learning to deepen their understanding of characters, explore different perspectives, and identify important themes throughout the novel. They’re building those critical reading skills while discovering the power of seeing the world through someone else’s eyes!

Earn Meeting Credit While Giving Back to Our Students!

Parents who volunteer to present about their profession can help students explore future career possibilities while earning PTA meeting credit for both November and December. Your experiences can have a lasting impact on our students’ futures.

🎨 Views from the Art Room! 🖌️

Our 1st and 2nd graders are putting the finishing touches on their “Resist Painting” rugs while learning about the difference between horizontal and vertical orientation. We love seeing their creativity come to life while they build those art skills!

Our upper grades explored intuitive line drawing as they prepare for their next project. Students focused on hand-eye coordination while letting the art happen naturally—no overthinking, just drawing and creating! It’s a great exercise for reducing anxiety and, as they discovered, it’s also weirdly fun! 😊

As artist Paul Klee said, “A line is a dot that went for a walk.” And our Jaguars definitely walked a LOT! 🐆🎨

🍣💚 We hope your Friday is as happy as our first graders! 💚🍣

After reading Yoko this week, our first graders celebrated friendship by making their very own friendship sushi! 🥰📚🍣 They had so much fun creating, sharing, and enjoying this delicious hands-on connection to their story.

Nothing says learning + friendship + fun quite like sushi with your friends! 💚💛

Our 4th graders in Mrs. Ruffing’s class practiced their reading comprehension skills with flashlights and spy pens! 🔦🕵️‍♀️ Talk about making learning fun!

There is something powerful that happens when Jaguars work together! 💛💚

Our 5th and 2nd grade students have been collaborating, sharing ideas, solving problems, and learning from one another. Whether they are discussing their thinking, working through a challenge, or encouraging a classmate, they are discovering that learning is even stronger when we work as a team!

Collaboration helps our Jaguars build communication, problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills—all while deepening their learning. We love seeing our students learn with and from each other! 🐆✨
