Meet Luke who works on an abacus!
Now heads up: Luke is a superstar and isn't my average student but I want to share with you his timeline of action and results so you can see what's possible for your child.
Luke is exceptional in a couple ways, his main struggle in school is his visual impairment caused by premature birth. He works harder than most students in his class and uses different manipulatives to achieve the same results. Not only does he love math, he understand math! I am so grateful Luke took the time to show me how he works his math problems. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day he was tutoring kiddos and making their math experience fun!

Science is such a fun way to get your child(ren) involved!
Since the weather is transitioning into spring/summer, a good experiment only take about 5 minutes, has minimal materials, and easy for your child(ren) to create! It allows your child to create their own mini tornado whose vortex you can see! Depending on how quickly you swirl the jar, the strength changes! 🌪️
The materials you'll need:
1. Mason jar or water bottle
2. Water
3. Dish soap
4. Vinegar
5. Glitter (optional)

It's beginning to feel a lot like spring! 💐
Instead of screen time, encourage your child(ren) to head outside for some fresh air! It'll do them good and they'll be tired when bedtime comes around.
