One reason that people struggle to manage a healthy weight is a low metabolism. Metabolic rate is the amount of energy that your body uses over time. The food that we consume provides our body with calories, and our metabolism determines how quickly we burn through those calories. People with a low metabolism burn through energy at a slower rate than those with a high metabolism.

Although cellular metabolism is not the same thing as metabolic rate, cellular metabolism does include energy production as well as cell regeneration and proper cellular function. PEMF therapy has been shown to improve cellular metabolism.
