Westgate Elementary School

Westgate Elementary will be a break spot for children under 18 to stop by and pick up a free breakfast and/or lunch this summer, beginning Monday through July.

Other nearby locations include the JW Rec Center and Tyrone Middle.

Woo hoo! Today’s the last day of school! Our students celebrated an amazing year with a sweet treat from Andy's Frozen Custard🍦🎉☀️

What an amazing day celebrating all of our graduates together! It was so special seeing our Wildcats come together from so many different high schools. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 5th graders along with all of our graduating seniors. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!

Testing is finally over and we're all ready for a little bit of fun!

For the second year in a row, students from Westgate had their writing selected for the Cross Creek Chronicle. Very proud of these two students from Mrs. Bauer's class!

First grade had a wonderful time at Dell Holmes Park celebrating all our achievements and hard work throughout the year! We are so proud of how much everyone has learned, grown, and accomplished. What a fun way to wrap up an amazing school year!

Today in 1st grade, we spent the day learning and camping in our classroom! Students enjoyed working together at their campsites and had so much fun. They especially loved making “s’mores” and sharing the camping experience with their classmates.

Students took home 1st place in PCS Student Film Festival for their informational video about Why We Love Westgate!

Good things are happening at Westgate! This past week, all the hallway carpet in Building 1 was removed and replaced with new durable plank flooring!

This building houses our 3-5th classrooms, music, art, gifted, YMCA programs, cafeteria, tutoring, and auditorium. We are some thankful Wildcats.

This is it-- last week of testing for our intermediate students. They have worked so hard this year and we are seeing the results! Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep, breakfast and arrives on time for their testing day. We are almost there!
