As we approach the annual meeting, we excitedly prepare to nominate a member to serve as president-elect for the 2022-2023 year. Nominations are now officially open through the start of the conference, come December 2nd. Members will be voting among all nominees at the conference. If you would like to self-nominate or nominate a current member, please submit your nomination online at https://bit.ly/FATE22PE
The roles and responsibilities of the President-Elect include:
1. Participate in all board meetings.
2. Chair the Meetings Committee.
3. Coordinate the planning of meeting(s) of the Association, at the direction of the President.
4. Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by the President
5. Represent FATE at the SRATE Conference.
6. Represent FATE as a delegate at the ATE Annual Conference.
7. Assist in transferring all records to the incoming President-Elect by the close of the Annual Meeting.
8. Become President at the close of the term of office as President-Elect.
9. In the absence of the Past-President, serve as Parliamentarian for all FATE meetings and conduct of FATE business.
