🦈💙 All About Me Week in Sharks! 💙🦈

Our Sharks had so much fun celebrating All About Me Week! They spent time learning more about themselves, what makes each of them special, and celebrating all the wonderful things that make them uniquely them! 🌟

One of their favorite activities was creating their very own self-portraits! 🎨 We loved seeing their creativity shine as they carefully created pictures of themselves and added their own special touches.

We are so proud of our Sharks for being confident, creative, and proud of who they are! 🥰 We love getting to know each of our kiddos and watching their personalities shine bright every day!

🎉 SEPTEMBER SHOUT-OUTS! 🎉

We are so excited to celebrate our September Employee of the Month, Ms. Nadia, and our September Classroom of the Month, Enrichment! 💙

🦈 Ms. Nadia has jumped right in and has already made such an amazing impact on our Goddard family! She is hardworking, dependable, always willing to help, and brings such a positive attitude to everything she does. We are so proud of how quickly she has become part of our team and all the amazing work she is doing in Sharks! 🌟

🎨 Enrichment is our Classroom of the Month! Our Enrichment team does such a wonderful job creating fun, engaging experiences for our kiddos and bringing so much creativity and excitement to their days. We appreciate all the love, energy, and hard work they pour into our school every day! 💕

🐮🌾 Learning starts from the very beginning! Even at such a young age, our infants are learning through play every day. While working on our farm puzzle, they practiced recognizing different animals, matching shapes, strengthening fine motor skills, and building hand-eye coordination. It’s amazing how much learning can happen through a simple puzzle! 🧩🐷🐴🐮💛

🎉 It has officially been ONE MONTH since the school year started! 📚✏️

Our future kindergarteners are already working hard learning how to read, write, and spell their sight words! We are so proud of all the learning, growing, and confidence we’ve seen from our kiddos already. 💛

The school year has been amazing so far, and we can’t wait to see how much more they learn and accomplish as the year continues! 🌟🍎

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
