Had so much fun working on “Four Arkansas Travelers” by Kevin Olson with this crew this summer! They were all out of town different weeks for camps so we only got to rehearse as a quartet twice, both times during the week leading up to the recital. I’m very proud of them for pulling it all together! 👏🏼 Thanks to our friends at Steinway for providing two beautiful instruments for us to play! 😊🎶

Congrats to all of our students who participated in MAMA earlier this month! Our studio earned a total of 28 Superiors and Lea won the Junior Division in the Talent Showcase! Prepping for a competition over the summer takes real dedication, and your teachers couldn’t be more proud of you. 👏🏼🩷

Last Friday was so super special! Not only was it my 25th musical/40th overall live performance this year being an audience member, but it was also Connor’s first lead role, starring as JoJo in Seussical Jr. at YPT! I’m so proud of his performance and dedication. What a ray of sunshine on that stage! And Miss Emily was part of a Bird Girl group that sounded like they had been singing harmonies together for far longer than a two week camp - just lovely! Congrats to all on an amazing show! 💛✨

Bravo to Vinny (“Carter”) and Sean (Student Director) as well as the rest of the YPT team on a gripping & suspenseful production of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution! So many newer to theatre/new to YPT faces in the show and you would’ve never known had you not read their bios in the program! Such a fun ending to my four show weekend. 🎉

Yesterday afternoon, I got to see Savannah (Ensemble) in her first musical, which is coincidentally the first FHSD Summer Stages show! Congrats to all the hard working students, teachers, and volunteers who put The SpongeBob Musical together in just a couple of weeks! 👏🏼🪼

A big round of a applause for our studio kids - Alyssa (Dowager Empress), Lea (Young Anastasia), and Charlie (Anastasia’s Brother) who opened Anastasia Youth Edition at St. John-UCC last night! And a bonus shoutout to my college friend & studio mom, Anna, who is the music director for Anastasia! The show was fantastic & there are still tickets available for tonight’s performance! 😊💜

Congrats to my sweet little gnome friend, Hattie on a great Shrek Kids performance at LifeLight Youth Theatre! She did a wonderful job in the Ensemble and the show was so polished with only a five day rehearsal process! Way to go! 👏🏼💚

Another op’nin, another show! 🎶 Happy Opening to Grace (Youth Ensemble) and the rest of the Disney’s Newsies team at The Muny! It’s hard to believe we just took the second photo together four days ago at the South Pacific closing and she’s got a new show to do this week! Have so much fun tonight, Grace! 🗞️👏🏼

Happy closing to Grace & all of the South Pacific team at The Muny! So exciting to see Grace get a shoutout in the BroadwayWorld review of the show, and I’ve loved spotting her in so many of the production photos. I can’t wait to see the show tonight! 🌺
