It was such a privilege to listen to Dr. Hurford and Dr. Odegard’s keynote presentations at the KC/MO International Dyslexia Association Conference! Meeting these inspirational leaders in person was such an honor. Dr. Odegard’s speech on the mental health impacts on students struggling to break the code was such an important reminder of the importance of helping all of our students learn to read. Another bonus was getting to collaborate with some of my wonderful instructors and colleagues in person! Keep up the great work Dyslexia and Reading Therapists, Teachers, and Advocates.
