This means the seller’s 10-day period begins after receipt of the buyer’s notice, not from the contract acceptance date. Therefore, it is not necessarily a total of 20 days from the acceptance date. Instead, the timeline depends on when the buyer submits the inspection results and requests to the seller within their initial 10-day period.
To calculate total timeframes:

• If the buyer takes the full 10 days to notify the seller, and the seller uses their full 10 days to respond, it could extend to a total of 20 days from the acceptance date.

• If the buyer submits their inspection notice earlier, the total time could be less than 20 days.

It’s always a good idea to refer directly to the language in the contract and confirm with your broker or legal professional if there’s uncertainty.
