What a day for Onyx!🖤

Congratulations to every single one of our competitors who stepped onto the mats yesterday! Every athlete who represented Onyx has been working SO incredibly hard to prepare for this tournament, and yesterday, that hard work paid off. Every single one of you deserves to be proud of what you accomplished!🙌

And to top it all off, our team brought home some incredible team awards!🏆

🥇 1st Place Kids Team
🥈 2nd Place Adult Team
🥇 1st Place Academy
🥉 3rd Place Association

That 3rd place association finish is especially exciting for us! As an independent academy competing against affiliated associations made up of multiple schools combined, this accomplishment means SO much. We showed up, put in the work, and proved what Onyx is capable of!

We could not be more excited, proud, and pumped about what this team accomplished yesterday. The hours on the mats, the tough rounds, the discipline, the dedication, and the commitment to getting better all led to this moment.

EARNED AND WORKED FOR. NOT GIVEN.🔥

Onyx is more than a team. We’re a family, and yesterday was a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together. To our athletes, coaches, and families who continue to show up and support one another- THANK YOU!🤍

Why Jiu Jitsu for kids?

Because the benefits go far beyond the mat.

Jiu Jitsu helps kids build confidence, discipline, focus, coordination, resilience, and problem solving skills, while making friends, having fun, and being part of a team.🖤

From our littlest grapplers to our teens, there’s always something new to learn and room to grow.

They learn to fall and get back up.
They learn to work through frustration.
They learn to celebrate progress.
And most importantly, they learn that they are capable of more than they may think.

Stronger bodies.
Stronger minds.
Stronger kids.
