Longest hour of my life! 🤣
Never give up! We al go through things and we gain weight, don’t work out as much, and our good eating habits go to the wayside. I have gone through all of this the past 4 years, but I have been making small changes and it is showing! I have lost 10lbs in a year! That might be small to some, but when you are struggling, this is huge! I have made small changes with results. Some tips:
1. Drink less alcohol
2. Eat smaller portions
3. Move your body in a way that best works for you.
4. Include at least one vegetable.
5. Drink more water.
6. Be proud of what you are achieving!

Individuals living with chronic pain often feel they cannot exercise, and they tend to avoid it. However, according to the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, regular physical activity may reduce one’s “risk of chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, many types of cancer, depression, anxiety and dementia.” Strength training can improve muscular strength, endurance and balance which reduces fall risk. Flexibility exercises help improve range of motion and the ability to perform activities of daily living, such as putting on one’s shoes. Mind-body exercise reduces stress levels and can also be used as an approach for pain relief.

Been really quiet lately as life is just crazy! Still teaching my RETRO BEST class and working out as much as I possibly can. I have goals! Here’s to achieving them no matter how long it takes!
