Our McClay crew is looking pretty amazing in their new “Bee the Sunshine” shirts! 💛🐝

This theme has been about more than just sunshine and bees — it’s about choosing kindness, sharing smiles, lifting each other up, and being the bright spot in someone else’s day. And our participants and staff do exactly that every single day! 💛

We absolutely LOVE seeing everyone together, laughing, creating, spending time with friends, and showing off that McClay pride! 🌻☀️

Because at McClay Adult Day Center, we don’t just look for the sunshine…

It’s time for a new Employee spotlight!
Maria Maine, she is Our Activity Director! She has been with us since April 25th 2022! Maria is better known as Eeya, eeya around our center, Maria Loves camping, doing crafts and checking out small towns all over the map! Maria’s favorite thing about working here at McClay is coming in and seeing all of the smiling faces! Maria loves to make them smile and laugh! Maria hasn’t always worked with Older adults but she says it’s been the most rewarding! Maria said the hugs and smiles she gets daily melt her heart! Maria is a true inspiration as she has had a double lung transplant, she is forever grateful to her donor and their family for the gift of life! Maria has a big amazing family that she loves so much! We are so grateful for Maria and the love and compassion she shows each and every one of our participants! Maria wants to say “If you aren’t an organ donor, please consider signing up! “

Employee Spotlight!

Here are McClay we have amazing staff from our direct support staff, nurse and drivers! I have never seen such compassion in drivers as we have!
Meet BJ Schrader!
He has worked for McClay Adult Day Center for 18 months, his hobbies are playing music and playing pickleball, his favorite foods are Indian and Mexican! His favorite part about working at McClay is “Seeing the participants daily and making them laugh!”
BJ is a huge animal lover, he is a vegetarian, he loves to cook and take walks with his Dog!

We are so blessed to have BJ as a part of our McClay family! Thanks BJ for everything you do!

Today and everyday I am so thankful for the most amazing staff and participants here at McClay Adult Day Center, they ALL show up and show love, patience and compassion every single day! Today I start an emplyee spotlight!

Patti Wallowski, Patti has been at McClay for nearly 7 years!!!
Patti loves hiking, gardening, history and reading (she has her own library!)
Patti’s favorite food is Veggie Fajitas and she loves green tea, chai tea and ICE drinks!
Patti’s favorite part about working at McClay is the Participants, she truly loves them all!
Patti’s favorite activities at McClay are, chair exercises, volleyball, Maria’s exercises and all of the parties!
Patti has two grandsons that she absolutely adores and is hoping for more very soon!
Patti is such an amazing part of our McClay team and we are so thankful for her! We are Blessed beyond measure!

Our favorite dog Trixie came for a visit and we all love her so! She is such a gentle loving pup! She is one of our staff’s dog, Thanks to Georgia for sharing her with us!
