This week, we are celebrating Ms. Ashley’s 1️⃣ year anniversary! Ashley has been in the Sage room taking care of our sweet babies since she began her journey with us here at Harlan Oaks. She also has experience with all different age groups, and loves to lend a helping hand wherever it is needed! We are so happy to have you here with us, and for blessing us with your two youngest boys to love on every single day as well!

We’d like to take some time to appreciate Madeline Labeau today! Yesterday, it was her ONE year anniversary with us here at Harlan Oaks! Ms. Madi has been in the Sage class since she’s started her journey with us. She has the most kindhearted and gentle soul, and we could not be more thankful to have her on our team and to continue to care for these sweet babies as if they were her own. Happy one year anniversary, Madeline! We love you!! ❤️

We would rather be safe than sorry! We will close at 3pm today in an effort to get all of our children and staff home before the second round of storms this afternoon. We hope everyone stays safe!!

Today is Earth day!

We helped celebrate in all kinds of ways here at Harlan Oaks. We dressed up in green or blue to represent our beautiful planet 🌎 We also helped teach the benefits of recycling by turning an old plastic bottle into a bird feeder! Then we all sat together to see if the birds liked it as much as we did! 🐦

Most importantly, we shared the love a little extra today, because OUR favorite things on this Earth…are all of YOU!! ❤️

Harlan Oaks is excited to announce that we are in the process of purchasing a property in St. Charles and we will be moving! There are a lot of moving pieces right now and due to variables out of our control we don't have an official opening date yet, but what I can tell you is that we will remain open at our current location until we are able to open the new building. Our staff remains steadfast and invested in our program, and we are all looking forward to continuing to grow and offer a premium service to our families in this next chapter! Stay tuned for updates!

Happy National Preschooler's Day to our Willow kids! We're so lucky to have all of them in our class. We can't wait to watch them continue to grow. Thanks for all the laughs and keeping us on our toes.

Last week our rockstar team attended the Conference of the Young Years. We returned with full hearts and renewed passion for this honorable profession! Attached are just some of our teachers' words on their takeaways from the weekend. It was one of the best conferences I have attended in over 15 years, and I could not have been prouder of our representation there among the leaders in early childhood education!

This week, along with Read Across America, we are also having a spirit week to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday! Yesterday was wear Red or Blue day (“Red Fish Blue Fish”) and today was Crazy Hair Day (“Thing 1 and Thing 2”)

What better way to celebrate Read Across America than by reading some books with your besties? 🥰📖
