✈️ Volunteers Still Needed at the Nicollet County Fair!

We still have shifts to fill at the John Ireland Catholic School - St. Peter, MN, Holy Rosary Catholic Church North Mankato, MN, Church of St. Paul, Nicollet, MN, and Church of St. Peter table at the Nicollet County Fair! By sharing the resources available through our school and parish, we help ensure that families in our community know where they can turn for connection, support, and belonging.

Volunteering is easy: smile, welcome visitors, share a little joy, hand out information, and help kids enjoy our table activity. Everything is set up for you, and support will be available throughout your shift. Bonus: Thanks to divine providence, our table is under a ceiling fan this year!

Today we celebrate St. Dominic, founder of the Dominican Order, whose life was devoted to preaching the Gospel, seeking truth, and spreading God's Word.

May we imitate his love for prayer, study, and proclaiming Christ through both our words and actions.

Today we honor St. John Vianney, the humble Curé of Ars, whose holiness and dedication transformed countless lives through prayer, confession, and faithful service.

May his example inspire us to seek God wholeheartedly and serve others with humility and love.

Fun Fact:
✨ St. John Vianney spent up to 16 hours a day hearing confessions, and pilgrims traveled from all over France to seek his guidance.
