Hey Gusties! Find these great warm-up events around the Twin Cities in November and take advantage of this time to explore the Christmas in Christ Chapel 2026 topic ahead of the performance! We hope to see you there!

Who's excited for Christmas in Christ Chapel?!

This year, we are thrilled to announce a Christmas in Christ Chapel "Preview Tour," featuring religion professor Dr. Blake Couey and musicians John Hermanson and Maren Haynes Marchesini. Join us for a time of Bible study, live music, and an introduction to this year's Christmas in Christ Chapel theme, "A Shoot Shall Spring Forth."

Our 2026 Christmas in Christ Chapel theme anticipates the significance of Christ’s life and work through engaging with the wondrous visions of the Prophet Isaiah. In times of despair, Isaiah offers vivid depictions of tender beginnings where new life springs forth from forsaken wilderness.

All events are free and open to everyone: bring a friend, neighbor, or fellow Gustie. We hope to see you at a stop near you as we prepare our hearts for the Advent season.

Take a step back in time and explore these historic views of Gustavus. 📬💛

Picture 1: King Gustav II Adolf, a familiar campus landmark that continues to welcome generations of Gusties.

Picture 2: Nobel Hall, where you can see just how much the building has expanded over the years while continuing to serve as a cornerstone of academic life on campus.

Picture 3: Anderson Hall, which once served as the Gustavus library before becoming the building we know today.

Every postcard captures a piece of Gustavus history. Have vintage postcards of your own? Send or mail them in and help us preserve the stories that connect generations of Gusties.
