National STEM Day is November 8. It shines a spotlight on the critical need to improve Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education. The date "Nov8" sounds like "innovate," which is a key goal of the day: to encourage innovation and new ideas in STEM.

CEE fosters innovation through its STEM education programs.
Each summer, 100 of the world's most accomplished high school students gather at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for the Research Science Institute (RSI). RSI combines on-campus course work in scientific theory with off-campus work in science and technology research. The registration deadline for the 2026 RSI is Dec. 10, 2025. CEE also sponsors the USA Biolympiad (USABO), the Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP), and STEM Lyceums. (Visit CEE’s website for more information about these exciting programs, https://www.cee.org/programs/programs-initiatives .)
