The Gustavus Greens is an on-campus organization promoting environmental sustainability through stewardship at Gustavus Adolphus College. We strive to be a visible group on campus that influences how the Gustavus community and that of St. We intend to accomplish this through advocating sustainable policy and development on campus as well as individual awareness of environmental issues.

This past weekend a group of Gusties went to the People's Climate March in D.C. It was great to see so many people from our campus voicing their opinions about climate justice and the need for sustainability across the world.

All Campus Trash Pick-up on Sunday. Join us, Facilities Management and the Gustavus Clean Up Crew in making a cleaner campus. Meet at 10:00 at the courtyard café.

Did your bike spend the winter outside? Do you have a flat tire or rusted chain? Come join the sustainability interns Gwen, Jenna, and Erin (all of whom are Greens members) TODAY from 5-7 for some free help! Tubes, tires, and chains will also be available for purchase.
Today's Tip from "Every Day is Earth Day" once again focusing on how you can reduce your personal footprint:
Turning off lights in rooms that aren't being used not only will reduce your electricity usage and save you money, but can also help keep a room cooler, a huge benefit for these coming summer months.
