Pete Beach Lego Techs is a junior robotics team that creates advanced robots to compete in local and national tournaments. The team is part of the St Pete Beach Recreation Center's Robotics Program that offers severals robotics classes to children ages 8 and up.

The robot competed in the Game World Championship on May 14. The game had two rounds both with unknown task and factors in the beginning where the team had to reprogram their robot in under 40 minutes for each round. The kids then worked on their robot with absolutely no adult help. They ended with a perfect score in each round but the final winner came down to time and the team ended up getting fourth place at the Game World Championship!
