Christine and I would like to take a moment to say thank you to all of our teachers. You guys are a blessing to us and to every child we serve. Your dedication and perseverance through some of the most challenging times we have ever seen has not gone unnoticed. We have and continue to overcome the challenges of a national pandemic, although it has been difficult, we all have been overcomers. We pray for all of you on a continuing basis knowing that the God we serve will watch over you and bless each of you continually. We hope that each of you will stay encouraged, love the children that God sends your way and Always know that you are loved and appreciated by Christine and I. Again thank you for being a part of our team.

Parents,
We will be opening back up Monday April 27th for essential working parents. We will be following same guidelines as before. If you have not provided a letter from employer that you are an essential worker, we will need a copy for our files. Please remember to refrain from social gatherings and visiting places out of state (e.g. beaches, hotels, birthday parties, family gathering. Your child will be subject to a 14 day waiting period to return to daycare if you choose to do that. It is crucial that we keep our children and staff as safe as possible. It is with great sadness that I am writing this post. For all those parents from our Lumberton facility, we found out yesterday that one of our dearest employees Amanda Townsend(baby Teacher) passed away. There are not many details as of yet. Amanda will be greatly missed as she was one of our prayer warriors that we could always call on when we needed prayer. She was faithful to work and to God. Please keep her family lifted up in prayer because losing a loved one is always difficult but to lose one abruptly is much more difficult. It is my understanding that there will be a walk through service Thursday from 3 to 6 pm at Colvins Funeral home.

We will open on regular schedule tomorrow 3/16/20 with the exception of NC Pre-K. If you, your child or any one that you have been exposed to is experiencing any signs of fever, flu or cold like symptoms do not attempt to bring your child to the facility. If your child develops a fever while at daycare you will be asked to pick your child up and they must have a cleared letter from a health official that they are not contagious. In order for us to serve our community and family members so that they can continue to work, we must be proactive. If we see that our families are not cooperating we will be forced to close and wait for the conditions to improve. We encourage everyone to follow all recommendations of your local and state officials.

Parents,
As of yet we have not received notice to close, there has been directions to increase sanitation requirements and to cancel any planned field Trips. We will continue to monitor it closely and communicate any changes promptly. We encourage every one to take extra precautions and sanitize frequently. We will communicate any changes via Facebook and email.
