The Crossroads PTA is for Everyone!

Some of us grew up having parents involved in the PTA, some of us vaguely remember that our school had a PTA, and others of us never even heard the word before. It stands for Parent Teacher Association and whatever your background, you are invited to get involved! Anyone, yes anyone (parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, special friends, care-givers, teachers, staff...) interested in contributing to the success of our children and our school, is welcome to participate and contribute. We all have a role to play.

The mission of the PTA is..

To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.

To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children.

To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

How can you get involved?

Volunteer at an event (uniform sale, movie night, Grandparents Day)

Offer to make food for a staff appreciation dinner/breakfast or fundraiser

Come to a PTA meeting

Offer to organize an event or fundraiser

Become a PTA dues paying member ($10/year)

Come to our events!

There are lots of ways to contribute and we’d love to hear from you about your ideas,
