Thank you for all your notes and kind words for my family. I can’t tell you how much this community means to me. Sarah was kind enough to teach for me today, but I will be teaching tomorrow, Sunday. July 26. We will be inside because of the heat.

My dad passed away peacefully early Thursday morning.
He was at home, with my mom holding his hand, exactly where he wanted to be. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful goodbye.
I’ve found that while my heart is broken, it is also incredibly at peace.
I had 48 years of hearing “I love you.” Forty-eight years of stories that somehow got better every time he told them. Forty-eight years of adventures, road trips, camping, fishing, family dinners, holidays, life lessons, and laughing until my stomach hurt. What a gift. Not everyone gets that, and I don’t take a single one of those years for granted.
Dad spent his final days surrounded by the people who loved him most. Friends and family came to visit, prayers poured in from every direction, and I truly believe he knew he was so deeply loved. I think that gave him the peace he needed to let go.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, thought of us, checked in on us, and loved our family (especially in these past two months). We have felt every bit of it.
We have some hard days ahead, but even more than our sadness, we feel gratitude. Gratitude for 88 amazing years of Norbert. Gratitude that he was home. Gratitude that he was loved so well. And gratitude that his stories, his kindness, his humor, and the way he made everyone feel will not be forgotten.
Love you forever, Dad.

☀️ This weekend’s Yoga and a Pint will be INSIDE!
