Students in Mr. Tommy Murray’s Spanish classes recently completed their “3-D Esperanza” review project, bringing the novel Esperanza to life through detailed landscapes, maps, and 3D models. After reading about a Guatemalan family’s journey to seek political asylum in the United States, students recreated key locations, landmarks, and moments from the story. The classroom then transformed into a living museum, where students explored each exhibit during a gallery walk review, testing their knowledge with a “4 Truths and a Lie” activity before their final exam. A creative and engaging way to deepen their understanding of the novel’s themes and journey!

What better way to end middle school than with a Raider Band sendoff?
We were honored to celebrate the graduating 8th graders at Highland Catholic as they walked out on their final day of school.
Congratulations to all 8th grade graduates! We are excited to see where your next chapter takes you and look forward to welcoming many of you to the CDH community this fall.
This morning, we held a champions parade to celebrate the outstanding athletes from Girls Golf, Boys Golf, Softball, Track & Field, and Girls Flag Football who have qualified for their respective state tournaments. Congratulations, Raiders, and good luck at state!

What a memorable day for the Class of 2026! The celebration began with Mass at Lumen Christi, followed by a Baccalaureate Brunch hosted by the Parents’ Association in the Joe Mauer Field House. Seniors then gathered at the Cathedral of Saint Paul for the graduation ceremony before returning to CDH for a senior lock-in that will keep the celebration going late into the night. It was a beautiful day honoring an incredible class. We are so proud of our graduates and can’t wait to see all they accomplish. Once a Raider, always a Raider!
