Talmud Torah of St. Paul invites our community to join us in remembering and honoring Noi Maudi, a beloved teacher who served our community and spread his warmth and love to our students.

Noi was killed at the Psyduck Music Festival near Kibbutz Nirim. His partner of 11 years, Sophia Ariola, has established the Noi Maudi Legacy Fund at the Minnesota JCC Foundation. This fund celebrates Noiโ€™s life and passion by supporting Shlichim โ€” Israeli scouts and counselors โ€” who share the spirit and beauty of Israel with children at Camp Olami and Camp Butwin each summer.

This fund ensures his legacy continues to inspire joy, learning, and connection for generations to come. To honor Noi and his legacy, TTSP will match the first $3,600 donated. Join us in giving at: https://minnesotajcc.org/donate/

The past years have brought with them tremendous loss and uncertainty. Indeed, throughout the ages, the Jewish people have experienced significant downfalls and periods of great adversity.

And, yet each time, the Jewish people drew on wellsprings of resilience to not only continue on but to continue forward, rebuilding for the next generation and producing words for themselves and for us. Join us with Mount Zion Temple as we study those texts together, with master teacher Rabbi Avi Strausberg, in paired learning (chevruta).

Attend in person or on Zoom on Wednesday, October 29 โ€” no cost, but please register so we can plan: https://mzion.org/event/torah-for-an-uncertain-world/
