$10 Trip to Wisconsin Dells Waterpark!!!
The University Activities Board (UAB) is sponsoring a one-day, students-only trip to Wisconsin Dells for a fun-filled day at Noah’s Ark Waterpark! The trip is Wednesday, August 9th and requires a $10 fee due in advance. The fee covers park admission, bus transportation, and light snacks and beverages for the bus ride.
This trip is exclusively for Metro State students enrolled in Summer and/or Fall semester classes. Only 50 spaces are available, so reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis until all spots have been claimed. Due to space limitations, unaffiliated guests and children cannot permitted.
Reservation & Payment Info
Interested students must request a reservation via OrgSync at the link below. Those whose reservations are approved will be notified via OrgSync, and all students must come to campus to pay the $10 fee at a scheduled time, by Monday, August 7th at 6:00pm. Students who do not pay by the deadline may risk losing their reservation to someone on the waitlist. Payment can be made with cash, check, or money order. Credit card payments are not accepted. Please visit an ATM prior to arriving to pay for your ticket.

Trip Itinerary:
--8:00am – Bus departs from the St. Paul Campus Student --Center
--12:00pm – Bus arrives at Noah’s Ark Waterpark
--8:00pm – Bus departs Noah’s Ark Waterpark
--12:00am – Bus arrives back to the St. Paul Campus
NOTE: The parking ramp will remain open and guarded until 1:00am so students may leave their cars on campus.

SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION

Inspired by a true story, SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION follows the trail of a young con man, Paul, who insinuates himself into the lives of a wealthy New York couple - Ouisa and Flan - by claiming he knows their children at college. He also tells them he is the son of actor, Sidney Poitier. This con expands to Ouisa and Flan’s other friends and finally, unexpectedly leads into darker territory as Paul’s lies begin to catch up with him.

Students will be auditioned alone and in groups reading sides from the script. Please come as early as possible and sign in at the audition table outside the Whitney Main Stage Theater. If you wish to prepare a short monologue from the play, scripts are available for checkout in the Script Library-F-1303

PERFORMANCE DATES & LOCATION: February 17, 18, 19 & 20 at 7 PM with a 1 PM matinee February 20. Whitney Fine Arts Center Main Stage on the MCTC / Mpls. Campus
REHEARSAL TIMES: Several read-throughs beginning mid-December for principals. Rehearsals begin early January, Monday through Friday evenings from 6-10 PM and 12-5 on Saturdays. Based on your role and the needs of the ensemble, we will attempt to work with your other commitments.
LOWER & UPPER DIVISION CREDIT:
(2-4 credits) available for ON & OFF STAGE work on this production.
One costume, lighting and sound assistant (each) needed to work with professional designers.
Stage manager and assistant stage manager needed. Please inquire with Gail Smogard if you are interested. (Preference to majors and minors.)
