Join us Thursday, October 1, at 5 p.m. to learn about local native plants and best practices for sustainably collecting seeds! The 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 and 𝗠𝗻𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗗 will demonstrate seed collecting from the native flowers and grasses found at Rivoli Bluff, a community garden site created by Urban Roots. Participants will leave with seeds and resources for processing and growing plants. This event is free and open to the public!

Beat the rush and reserve your study room online! The library has several private study rooms that Metro students can reserve up to 2 weeks in advance.

Go to the library’s website and click on Reserve a Study Room: https://booking.mnpals.net/patron_MTR_990058818140104285.html Pick a date, select your time slot (up to three hours), then click Book It! On the day of your reservation, bring your student ID to the Information Desk on the library’s 1st floor to check out the key.

Note: Community borrowers are welcome to check out study rooms on a first-come, first-served basis; advance reservations are available to Metro students only.
