📢 Alumni Update: Stacey (Kigner) Strange ’06
Congratulations to MPA alum Stacey on the launch of her novel, The Alchemists! 🎉 We're thrilled to celebrate Stacey's latest achievement and invite our MPA community to join her for an unforgettable book launch event.

The Alchemists Book Launch Party will take place on October 7 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at The Alchemist in White Bear Lake.

Guests can enjoy custom cocktails, book signings, swag, and, of course, an opportunity to celebrate with Stacey.

Some very special guests joined kindergarten for a lesson that brought learning, community, and service together! Parents of alum Severin Oman ’94, Nan and Dan Oman, returned to MPA–this time as grandparents–to share a special lesson on chickens with their grandson's class.

Their visit helped kick off the kindergarteners’ Heifer International animal lessons, exploring how animals can make a meaningful difference for families and communities around the world. See more of the joyful lesson at mpa.link/chickens.

There’s nothing better than welcoming alumni back to campus! Pranay Somayajula ’18 and Ryan Guggenheim ’18 recently grabbed coffee with Ms. Murr and decided to stop by campus afterward to reconnect with a few more familiar faces before Ryan heads back overseas, where he is teaching English.

What started as a quick visit turned into lunch and an afternoon spent catching up and reminiscing. We loved having you back, Pranay and Ryan! Thanks for stopping by with Ms. Gleason to say hello, share what you’ve been up to, and, of course, pose for a photo!

📢 Alumni Update: Trevor Lien ‘24

Trevor, a junior at Purdue University majoring in Mechanical Engineering, spent the summer as a Systems Engineering Intern with Honeywell Aerospace at their Phoenix Engines Site in Arizona. He enjoyed gaining hands-on experience in jet engine design for commercial and defense applications.

During his internship, Trevor reconnected with fellow MPA alum and Honeywell Aerospace employee, Sarah Ley ’18. They first met when paired through the MPA Mentorship Program, which connects MPA seniors with alumni or professionals in their intended field of study. This connection provided a valuable opportunity to discuss career paths and explore future career development well beyond senior year! Way to go Trevor and Sarah!

MPA Homecoming is right around the corner... and we're excited to announce the return of the Alumni Soccer Scrimmage! ⚽

Join us on Saturday, September 26 at 2:45 p.m., immediately following the Boys Varsity Soccer game. We look forward to getting alumni back on the field for a fun, casual scrimmage, and just as importantly, a chance to reconnect, laugh, and spend the day back at MPA. We met with Clara ’25 just ahead of her return to school! We talked about all things college, from classes to internships to Greek life and beyond as well as family, friends, horses...and MPA! It was so nice to catch up with you and we can't wait to see you back on campus soon!

We love catching up with our alumni to learn what they are up to, and we hope to see you all soon!
