2026 Black & Brown Birthing Summit From Voice to Impact: Framing Healthy Birth for Black Brown and Underserved Communities

We would love to have you join us for a two hour focus group discussion about the impact of Operation Metro surge on mothers and families. Participants who complete the discussion will receive a $100 dollar gift card. Transportation and childcare are available if necessary. Please note that there is a limit of 4-5 participants per group.

The Minnesota Department of Health is seeking input from doulas, birthworkers, and midwives through two workforce surveys open through June 30. Your experiences can help identify the strengths, challenges, and opportunities within these professions, update workforce data, and inform strategies to expand access to culturally responsive birth and perinatal care across Minnesota.
