As we celebrate the Feast of St. John Vianney, we remember a priest whose life was shaped by a profound love for Christ in the Eucharist and a tireless devotion to the care of souls. His witness reminds us that every priestly vocation begins with a heart drawn ever closer to the Lord and formed by His presence.

With a new academic year approaching, we trust our seminarians to his intercession as they continue the work of formation. May they grow each day in fidelity to Christ and be shaped into priests after His own Heart.

We invite you to Deacon Discernment Day | September 26, 2026 from 8:15am—5pm at The Saint Paul Seminary.

The call to the Diaconate is a call to serve Chris and His Church with a steady heart and a generous life. This day offers time for a man and if married, his wife, for prayer, reflection, and thoughtful conversation about serving as a permanent deacon and the process of formation.

Today we celebrate the Memorial of Saints Martha, Mary, and Lazarus.

As friends of the Lord, they remind us that the Christian life is one of prayer, generous service, and steadfast faith. May their example inspire us to welcome Christ more deeply into our lives each day.

On this feast of Saint Mary Magdalene, we remember the woman who loved Christ deeply, stood at the foot of the Cross, and was the first to see Our Savior risen.

We join the faithful of our Archdiocese in lifting up Auxiliary Bishop Kevin Kenney in prayer following his recent cancer diagnosis.

As a seminary community, we entrust Bishop Kenney to the loving care of our Lord, asking for strength, healing, and peace throughout his treatment. May he be sustained by God’s grace, the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the prayers of all the faithful.

Today the Church celebrates one of the great Doctors of the faith. Saint Bonaventure showed us that to know Christ deeply is to love Him more completely, and that knowledge and sanctity are companions on the path to a deeper relationship with Christ.

His humble heart reminds us that all learning ultimately draws us closer to God. On this feast day, we ask for Saint Bonaventure’s intercession, that our pursuit of knowledge always lead us to the heart of our Loving Father.
