SPC culinary students experienced la dolce vita during the college’s first-ever study abroad trip to Italy.

Over nine days, they explored the traditions behind cheese making, Prosciutto di Parma, balsamic vinegar production, and so much more. It was an immersive, hands-on journey through one of the world’s most iconic food cultures.

Congratulations to Khalique Rogers ‘16 on being named a 2026 The Bush FoundationFellow!

An SPC alumnus and Presidential Advisory Council member, Khalique is passionate about helping young people shape public policy. His work focuses on connecting civic leadership, education, housing, and workforce systems to create lasting change.

Velkommen hjem, Dr. Kristyn VanderWaal Mills!

We’re so excited to have Dr. VanderWaal Mills back after an amazing year in Denmark as SPC’s very first Fulbright U.S. Scholar. She spent her time at Københavns Professionshøjskole diving into lab-based programs and soaking up a wide range of new ideas.

Now she’s back home, and we can’t wait to hear all about it and see how her experiences bring fresh inspiration to SPC!

What can we learn from how Denmark prepares students for STEM careers?

After a year abroad, Fulbright Scholar Kristyn VanderWaal Mills brought back insights that could help strengthen programs at Saint Paul College. From virtual global learning to hands-on lab experience, the goal is simple: help students clearly connect what they learn in class to real careers.
