After 35 Years, This Tommie Finally Finished What He Started - Newsroom | University of St. Thomas First-generation college student Martin Strommer dropped out for a career opportunity. He officially earned his degree in art history from the University of St. Thomas 35 years after he was originally expected to graduate.

Despite a storm rolling through Milwaukee just before the Tommies On the Road event, alumni and friends showed up ready to connect, learn and celebrate the exciting momentum happening at St. Thomas.

Sean Sweeney '06 is the newest Orlando Magic head coach! At St. Thomas, Sweeney was a three-year starter and earned all-conference honors as a senior in 2005-06. Roll Toms!

Grand Old Day is this Sunday, and St. Thomas and the School of Engineering are both sponsors! Engineering will be in the Future Innovators Future Innovators Zone. Visit the team from the University of St. Thomas School of Engineering! We'll have hands-on STEM activities for kids of all ages. You can find us in the Willwerscheid and Wedding Shoppe lots. Just look for purple!
