A huge congratulations to our 2021-2022 BRAVE Award winner, Minkyu! His advisor, Ms Alejandra, shares the following about Minkyu:
“To be B.R.A.V.E goes beyond visibility amongst your peers or being ready to use your extraordinary abilities to be a leader. To be brave is to boldly embrace authentic compassion to unite others and create a supportive community where everyone feels capable of thriving. Throughout the 2021-2022 school year, Minkyu Jun has embodied the essence of bravery in all he has done. He has brought our Twin Cities community together, forming strong bonds amongst student groups. He has served as the altruistic model for others, acting as a dependent source of reliability. Minkyu will begin his first year at University of Minnesota this Fall 2022, where he will be in the honors program and continue to share his bravery.”
Another special shout-out to our 2 “original” Amerigo Twin Cities students, Abel and Teresa, who started as freshman here in 2018 when our campus first opened and are now graduating! They are the first students to complete all 4 years of high school and graduate here on our campus.
