One of the initiatives of MVSEF is Early Childhood Touchpoints. This initiative helps young residents of the Mounds View School District to receive an age-appropriate book along with resources to help families engage in the district. The goal is to engage families early, build community ties and promote Early Childhood Education programs from birth - kindergarten.

It's rewarding to see the numbers- To date there have been;
492 onesies & resource flyers delivered to new babies in the district
516 cards & books delivered on the 1st birthday
548 cards & books delivered on the 2nd birthday
& 581 Early Childhood Screening postcards mailed out on the 3rd birthday

Did you know the MVSEF funding goes to more than outdoor field trips? Bel Air Elementary School is getting a NEW outdoor classroom and the Foundation is a proud supporter of the space 👏👏☀🌳

5th Grade students from Island Lake Elementary School and Pinewood Elementary School have the opportunity this spring to visit and explore the Dodge Nature Center and the Baker Outdoor Learning Center in part from the support of our Outdoor Education Initiative!
The Outdoor Education Initiative helps provide students across the district with dynamic, interactive outdoor learning environments that elevate traditional learning experiences. The goal is to expand learning outside the four walls of the classroom, building on social/emotional awareness and human environment interactions.
