đ⨠FINAL(S)LY! â¨đ
This semester started back in January⌠and somehow lasted approximately a decade. If youâre in finals mode right now: we see you. đŤś
As you power through exams, papers, and projects, remember to take care of yourselfâdrink water, get some rest, take a break when you can, and breathe. You donât have to earn exhaustion to earn success. đ
Summer is so close we can almost taste it đđ´
And weâre especially excited to celebrate with many of you at Commencement on May 4th đđ
Youâve got thisâand CAR is always cheering you on!

A Quick Reminder About Service Animals on Campus
Did you know that service dogs - and in some cases, miniature horses - are allowed on campus? They do not need an accommodation letter, special documents, certification, vest, or ID to accompany their handler.
Service dogs are working and trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability. These service dogs are permitted in all areas of the university where the public or students are normally allowed.
Only dogs (and sometimes miniature horses) are recognized as service animals under the ADA, and they must be individually trained to perform a task or tasks related to the handler's disability. Emotional support animals (ESA) provide comfort but are not trained to perform disability related tasks, and are not considered service animals under the ADA.
If you have questions, concerns, or need guidance, please reach out to the Center for Accessibility Resources:

We are about halfway through the winter break between semesters. Checking in to see how you are doing. Have you started getting ready for classes starting in January? The CAR team is getting spring letters ready and should be sending those out sometime during the week of January 5th. If you need things like alternative format course materials now is the time to request them so that you will have them right away at the start of the term.
