WEEDS vs. PLANTS: Intro Identification & Garden Work Day
Wednesday, 9/14
4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm
Stop by and get your hands dirty! Short (15 minute) info sessions will be held each hour. Friendly gardeners will be hanging out all afternoon.

Garden Tour, Activities, & Snacks
Saturday, 9/17
4-5pm
Learn about the history, development, and spirit of our garden. Fresh snacks provided. All are welcome. This event is the final stop on the "Tour de Gardens".

Open Streets
Saturday, 10/1
11-5pm
We're looking for people to help plan, volunteer, and participate during the day. More info to come!

Our group is looking for hardworking, self-starting individuals who are interested in shaping the future of the West Bank Community Garden. You'll have the opportunity to work on projects based on your interests, gain gardening skills and knowledge, and be part of this amazing community.

Minneapolis moves to ban plastic bags 04/05/2016

Minneapolis moves to ban plastic bags Under a new city ordinance, retailers can offer paper, reusable or compostable bags. They can either charge customers at least 5 cents per bag, or the retailer can pay the same fee to a litter cleanup nonprofit.
