Research from students and faculty advisors in the CSP psychology program was featured at a conference hosted by People Incorporated - Community Conversations: Youth Mental Health and Digital Wellness on July 22. Students, Ava Rain, Haven Williams, Bobby Sandcork, and Johannes Aweke, and their faculty advisors, Drs. Jeremiah Schimp and Dana Hirn Mueller, presented and discussed their research with attendees. Research topics focused on college student identity and mental health, the impact of social influence on treatment-seeking behavior, the effects of doomscrolling on adolescent mental health, and the use of AI in therapeutic settings.
