Twin Cities Chinese Language School Twin Cites Chinese Language School, established in 1976, is dedicated to promote Chinese culture and language education in the Twin Cities area.

In the fall of 1974, a group of Chinese American parents felt the need for their children to learn Chinese culture and language. They initiated the preparation work and later founded the Twin Cities Chinese Language School in 1976. Over the past years, many parents, teachers and volunteers helped to make the school prosper. Over the years, the school has become a place for parents and youngsters to learn Chinese, share ideas and to have fun. More importantly, the school has not only met its original goal but has inspired many graduates to continue their study of the Chinese culture by taking Chinese language and history classes at the collage level. The Twin Cities Chinese Language School's mission is to introduce Chinese culture, promote Chinese language education and to serve the Chinese American community. Our school currently offers preparatory, kindergraten, level 1 to 9, Conversion and adult classes. Our teachers have many years of Chinese teaching experiences. They regularly attend Chinese language education workshop and exchange their teaching experiences with other language schools. Current curriculum includes listening, speaking, reading, writing, phonics and conversion. We also include some Chinese holidays in our regular curriculum, such as moon festival and Chinese New Year, to help students better understand the Chinese culture and customs. Starting 2008, computer aided teaching program is offered to level 6 to 9 students to strengthen their Chinese learning. typing and word entry. Each summer, we also have several teachers from Tawian to teach our students with interesting cultural activities such as folk dances. toys, paper cuttings, and so on. We are very welcome childrens or adult friends who are interested in learning Chinese to join us.
