Campus news spotlight: Hand-washing is one of the best ways to slow the spread of germs and viruses, but it’s hardly foolproof. At Bethel University, Professor of Chemistry James Christenson and a team of student researchers — in partnership with tech start-up incubator Minnetonka Labs — created a soap that glows under a faucet blacklight to make hand-washing more visual and effective.
