Scholars partaking in our Summer Language and Math (SLAM) program enjoyed a special BBQ lunch today.

Kaden met with students in grades 5–7 and shared his educational journey, college experience, and what it's like to play football at the collegiate level. He spoke honestly about the challenges and opportunities he has encountered along the way and encouraged students to dream big and stay focused on their goals.

One of the most impactful messages he shared was the importance of finding mentors who will support, challenge, and encourage you to become your best self. He also highlighted the value of having mentors who reflect your experiences and help you see what's possible for your future.

We are grateful to Kaden and our partners at Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood for providing our scholars with meaningful opportunities to connect with positive role models and explore pathways to college and career success.
