I was impressed most with her ability to gather the most thorough and pertinent HPI and ROS, maybe better than myself.

She is still learning the list of differential diagnoses and all the associated treatment regimens but this comes as students move into practicing on their own. She is able to look up answers if she needs to. Patient’s and staff enjoyed her as well. She was a joy to have!

Last week, our second-year PA students presented their Evidence-Based Topic Presentations as part of their clinical education experience.

Students selected clinically relevant topics connected to their rotations, future practice interests, or PANCE review, then synthesized current evidence into focused, professional presentations for their peers.

This assignment helps strengthen clinical reasoning, evidence-based decision-making, and presentation skills essential to future PA practice. 🩺

30 Years of Pie Night 🥧

A tradition 30 years in the making.

Pie Night continues to bring together students and experienced providers for an evening of meaningful conversation, mentorship, and connection. From its beginnings in 1997 to today at ANC, this gathering has remained a space where future clinicians learn directly from those in the field.

We’re grateful for the providers who continue to show up, share their experiences, and invest in the next generation.
